This Week in ACC Women's Tennis

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The 10th weekend of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis spring season gets underway on Thursday, March 12, as Georgia Tech hosts Virginia Tech at 4 p.m. ET and No. 18 Clemson hosts No. 21 Virginia at 5 p.m. ET.

This weekend’s matches are highlighted by one non-conference ranked matchup, as No. 23 Duke travels to Columbus, Ohio, to take on No. 3 Ohio State at noon ET on Sunday, March 22.

The ACC had six teams ranked in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women’s Top 25 Coaches Poll, highlighted by North Carolina at No. 6. NC State (No. 14), Virginia (No. 15), California (No. 16), Clemson (No. 20) and Duke (No. 23) filled out the rest of the top 25.

Noting ACC Women’s Tennis
  • NC State’s duo of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe (No. 2), Virginia's duo of Melodie Collard and Vivian Yang (No. 4) and North Carolina’s duo of Reese Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton (No. 5) were all ranked in the top 5 in the ITA Doubles Rankings released on March 17.  
  • North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier won the 2025-26 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Singles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
  • The NC State doubles team of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe won the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. 
  • ACC women’s tennis players earned a total of 10 ITA All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships. The complete list of All-Americans will be announced at the end of the 2025–26 season once all criteria are met. 
  • The 2026 ACC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will be held April 14-19 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.
