Day Five of 2026 ACC Swimming & Diving Championships Complete

Atlanta, Ga. (theACC.com) - Day Five of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming & Diving Championships concluded in Atlanta, Georgia, at the McAuley Aquatic Center on Thursday, February 19. After day five, Virginia holds the lead on the women’s side with 786 points, and California holds the lead on the men’s with 622.

Stanford’s Lucy Bell snagged the first ACC Women’s 400 IM title in program history, setting a conference championship record with a time of 3:59.11, snapping the 2023 record time of 3:59.33 previously held by Virginia’s Ella Nelson. Just moments later, Stanford’s Josh Zuchowski won the first Men’s 400 IM title for the Cardinal, clocking a time of 3:38.58.

Stanford’s Torri Huske won her second individual gold medal of the meet, taking the women’s 100 fly title with a time of 48.26. Huske’s winning time beat her own top NCAA time this season, previously set at 48.90 in November 2025. NC State’s Aiden Hayes clocked a time of 44.07 to bring the men’s 100 fly title back to Raleigh, North Carolina. Hayes’ time is his season-best, edging out his own 44.40 set just this morning to stay put holding the third fastest time in the nation.

Virginia’s Anna Moesch beat her own top-time in the NCAA with a time of 1:39.72 to take gold in the women’s 200 free, marking the seventh-straight 200 free title for the Cavaliers.
Stanford’s Henry McFadden took gold in the men’s 200 free, setting a meet record with a time of 1:31.05. McFadden’s season-high places him in fourth place in the NCAA this season.

The top three finishers in each event, plus all members of the first-place relay teams at the ACC Championships, will be named to the All-ACC Team.
