CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, NC State, Pitt, Stanford, Syracuse and Virginia posted conference victories on Sunday, January 4.

Duke 82, #18 Notre Dame 68 | Box Score | Highlights
  • All five starting Blue Devils scored in double figures, led by Taina Mair with a season-high 23 points, six rebounds and six assists.
  • Sophomore Toby Fournier registered her fourth 20-point performance in her last five games, finishing with 20 points.
  • Duke finished 9-for-18 from distance, with the 50.0 percent mark, its highest since November 9 against Holy Cross (52.2 percent).
  • Notre Dame was led by Hannah Hidalgo with 22 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
Stanford 77, #16 North Carolina 71 (OT) | Box Score | Highlights
  • Courtney Ogden scored a game-high 21 points to lead Stanford to its second ranked win of the season.
  • The victory marked Stanford's first overtime win since defeating Virginia Tech on February 20, 2025 and its first ranked win over an ACC opponent since joining the league.
  • The Cardinal outrebounded the Tar Heels 40-28, led by freshman Lara Somfai's team-high eight boards.
  • Nyla Harris scored 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting to lead North Carolina.
Virginia 91, Florida State 87 (2OT) | Box Score | Highlights
  • Virginia's Kymora Johnson tallied 31 points, eight rebounds and 11 assists in 50 minutes to move the Cavaliers to 4-0 in ACC play.
  • Teammate Paris Clark added a career-high 22 points.
  • It marked the first double-overtime ACC game since NC State defeated Notre Dame on February 23, 2025.
  • Florida State's Sole Williams finished 11-for-17 from the field for 28 points in the setback.

Syracuse 73, Wake Forest 56 | Box Score | Highlights
  • Freshman Uche Izoje posted her sixth double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead Syracuse to its second straight victory.
  • The Orange finished the game shooting 31-for-61 (50.8 percent), their first conference game shooting over 50.0 percent since February 27, 2025, against Pitt (54.0).
  • Senior Laila Phelia totaled 17 points, her highest scoring output since dropping in 19 against SMU on December 9.
  • Wake Forest's Grace Oliver continued her scoring surge with a team-high 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting.

Clemson 70, Miami 55 | Box Score | Highlights
  • Led by Raven Thompson's season-high 24 points, as Clemson returned to the win column at Miami.
  • Thompson finished 10-for-12 from the field and knocked down four 3-pointers in the win.
  • Clemson's Mia Moore registered a season-high 12 assists.
  • Miami's Ra Shaya Kyle was one rebound shy of a double-double with 12 points and nine boards, while teammate Gal Raviv also scored 12 points.

NC State 71, California 60 | Box Score | Highlights
  • NC State outscored California 34-24 in the second half to pull away and move to 4-0 in league play.
  • Khamil Pierre posted a game-high 21 points and seven rebounds to lead the Wolfpack, her second 20-point effort in her last three contests.
  • The NC State defense held Cal to just 5-of-22 shooting from 3-point range.
  • The Golden Bears were led by Lulu Twidale with 16 points and Taylor Barnes with 15 points and 11 rebounds. 

#13 Louisville 85, Virginia Tech 60 | Box Score | Highlights
  • With the victory, head coach Jeff Walz recorded his 500th career victory, becoming the 28th active Division I head coach to reach the milestone.
  • Laura Ziegler led the way with 18 points and nine rebounds, scoring in double figures in five of her last six games.
  • The Cardinals finished 11-for-19 (57.9 percent) from 3-point range, their highest percentage of the season and since November 21, 2024, against Morehead State (59.3 percent).
  • On the defensive end, the Louisville defense held Virginia Tech to 0-for-16 from distance, marking the first time since 2021 the Cardinals held a team without a 3-pointer.
  • Carys Baker led the Hokies with 16 points and nine rebounds. 

Georgia Tech 67, SMU 59 | Box Score | Highlights
  • For the second consecutive game, sophomore Talayah Walker posted a 30-point performance, scoring a game-high 30 points with 11 rebounds in the Yellow Jackets' third straight win.
  • Walker, who also finished with a season-high seven steals, shot 9-for-13 from the field and 11-for-12 from the free throw line.
  • Walker is now one of only two ACC players with multiple 30-point performances this week, joining Notre Dame's Hannah Hidalgo (four).
  • Zahra King led the Mustangs with 21 points, her second 20-point performance of the season.

Pitt 64, Boston College 61 | Box Score | Highlights
  • Outscoring Boston College 23-8 in the fourth quarter, Pitt claimed its first ACC victory and snapped a three-game skid.
  • Freshman Theresa Hagans Jr. scored a game-high 24 points, adding five assists and two steals in the win.
  • Pitt's Lauren Rust pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds, including five on the offensive glass.
  • Boston College saw four players in double figures, led by Lily Carmody with 12 points.
