CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Seventeen of the 18 Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Track & Field programs will compete between Friday, January 16, and Sunday, January 18.
Virginia Tech will host the Virginia Tech Invitational on Friday and Saturday, January 17, with fellow ACC members NC State and Virginia participating as well. The meet will open at 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday and continue Saturday at 11 a.m. ET.
Georgia Tech will travel to Nashville, Tennessee, for the Vanderbilt Invitational, hosted by Vanderbilt. Streamed coverage of the 33-team meet will begin on SEC Network+ on Friday at 10 a.m. ET and continue at 9:15 a.m. ET on Saturday.
SMU will travel to Lubbock, Texas, for the two-day Corky Classic, hosted by Texas Tech. The meet will be streamed live on SEC Network+, beginning at 4 p.m. ET on Friday. Coverage from Lubbock will continue on Saturday at noon ET.
The two-day Jimmy Carnes Invitational in Gainesville, Florida, will feature Florida State and Miami. On Saturday, Duke and Wake Forest will compete in the JDL Mondo College Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, while Pitt and Syracuse will hit the track in the Nittany Lion Challenge in University Park, Pennsylvania.
Noting ACC Indoor Track & Field
- Eleven women’s student-athletes rank in the top five nationally for their respective events, according to TFRRS.
- Eight men’s student-athletes rank in the top five nationally for their respective events, according to TFRRS.
- Virginia’s Gary Martin broke the ACC record in the men’s 5,000-meter run in his season-opening performance. His time of 13:05.57 is the sixth-fastest in NCAA history.
- The 2026 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held in Boston, Massachusetts, from February 26-28, at the TRACK at new balance.
