CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The Atlantic Coast Conference will embark on the second year of its “
ACCOMPLISH GREATNESS” creative campaign,
which was unveiled on August 30, 2023. The campaign will continue to showcase the ACC's outstanding achievements in both athletics and academics through a series of powerful multi-sport advertisements, highlighting the conference's unparalleled success across all sports throughout the academic year.
"We look forward to building upon the highly successful first year of our 'ACCOMPLISH GREATNESS' campaign and there is outstanding momentum as we enter its second year,” said ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips, Ph.D. “This campaign continues to serve as a powerful representation of the ACC - our talented student-athletes, dedicated coaches, and esteemed institutions - and celebrates the league's successes across sports, academics, community engagement, and beyond. We take great pride in the exceptional achievements of our conference and are truly grateful for the outstanding contributions of our partners - Wasserman and Laundry Service - and the active participation of our now 18 member institutions."
The second year of
ACCOMPLISH GREATNESS will expand on year one, with multiple TV spots - including football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and fall, winter and spring sports - radio spots, social media creative, digital media promotion and school-specific campaign design assets for each member school.

The
ACCOMPLISH GREATNESS campaign will continue to highlight the incredible success of the ACC. Heading into year two of the campaign:
- No other conference has won more NCAA national championships in the last three years than the ACC. The league has won 23 national titles in the last three academic years, including a league-record nine in 2022-23.
- The ACC has won seven or more national titles in each of the last three years – the best run in ACC history.
- The ACC has had a team in either the College Football Playoff or the BCS National Championship Game in eight of the last 11 years, including two teams in 2020. The ACC has had three different teams make the CFP, which is tied for the most among all conferences, and has the second-best record in the CFP since its inception.
- The ACC is the only conference to have every team ranked at least once in the first 10 years of the CFP rankings (2014-2023).
- The ACC has won seven national championships in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and baseball since 2015. The ACC is the only conference to win a national title in each of those sponsored sports over that stretch.
- ACC men’s basketball programs have combined to win 15 NCAA Championships.
- ACC women’s basketball, the ACC has had nine different institutions represented in the Final Four.
- With the addition of women’s gymnastics on July 1, 2023, the ACC sponsors 15 women’s sports offerings. In total, no peer conference sponsors more than the league's 15 women’s sports and the 28 total sports.
The campaign’s first year highlighted a banner year for the ACC in 2023-24:
- Seven ACC teams won NCAA Titles – and for the first time in ACC history, all seven titles were won by different schools.
- ACC had 11 bowl-eligible teams, the most of all Power 5 conferences.
- A team in both the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Final Fours.
- Three teams in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Elite Eight – most of all conferences.
- Four teams in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Sweet 16 – most of all conferences.
- Eight teams in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament in each of the last six years – most of all conferences.
- Four teams in the College World Series – no other conference had more.
- Five teams in the NCAA Baseball Championship Super Regionals – no other conference had more.
- Five teams to host a Regional in the NCAA Baseball Championship – no other conference had more.
- Four ACC teams among the NCAA men’s golf final eight.
- The 2023-24 school year saw 12 different league members win a conference title, led by North Carolina (6), NC State (5), Florida State (4), Duke (3), Notre Dame (3), and Virginia (2) winning multiple conference crowns.
- Among the nation’s best in academic metrics - U.S. News and World Report Rankings, NCAA Graduation Success Ratings and NCAA Academic Progress Rate.
